I’m more surprised he can get reception all the way out there in the sticks.
Reception outside of Unylsk is a roulette game at the best of times, but Shitparade lives near one of the largest corporate-owned collective farms up north, which means running water, electricity, TV, and even limited cell phone coverage.

It’s the mid-’90s: cell phones are expensive, but pretty well-established.
No idea if you can see the comment I posted on the 15th, Dod98, it is still apparently awaiting moderation. I had written “Cellphones have been around for a while now. :) ” and placed two wiki links to “History_of_mobile_phones#Handheld_mobile_phone” and “Motorola_DynaTAC”.
Note to future self and anyone this is relevant to: Avoid posting links in your replies or you will likely end up in “awaiting moderation” limbo which I assume leaves your comment invisible, considering the two subsequent replies after mine.
Yep, looks like our spam filter got a little testy about the links. Sorry ’bout that.

Don’t sweat it. Everything’s alright. :)
Finally some people decide to cooperate! I get why Dan doesn’t want to play the hero but it’s still frustrating with this big mystery about the virus looming over them
Yeah, I was tired of the no collaborating that was happening. I hope they figure something out.
Also, we’re continuing the theme of Dan having the worst luck.
I am loving the direction this is going. Also, looking forward to hearing more of Fixers opinions on tape media (my first Windows 3.11 machine had a tape drive)
Looks like he’s lost his implant again :)
cant wait for next chapter! keep up the amazing work my doods!

Absolutely! This is great.
I love the whole comic. Thank you so much, Cryoclaire and Io Black.
And thank you for being a part of it!

Aw shit, the team is assembling!
I know we are talking about a world where virtual fucking reality is a thing, but I’m surprised about Shitparade having a cellphone.
